A simple solution We are the parents of twin eight month old boys. About a month ago they began crawling and pulling themselves up on the furniture. We have a steep staircase off our kitchen and I knew we would have to gate it off. I am not a very handy person and although I wanted a secure gate I did not want one that was difficult to install. I read all the gate reviews on Amazon and I was drawn to this one as it comes with templates for installing the hinges and latch. I am glad I ordered this gate as it lives up to its name--Simple and Secure. I had the gate installed perfectly in less than 30 minutes. It is very strong and blends well with our decor. We have a 42" stairwell and the gate fit without the need for any extensions or extra parts. Unlike some other reviewers, I did not find the closing "click" too loud or bothersome. In fact, it is reassuring to know that the gate is securly locked behind you. I would definitely recommend this product to any family having infants or toddlers.
Love, love it!! VERY thick!! This is a very thick cotton material, not the super thin terry cloth a lot of the burp cloths and bibs are made of; and it's NOT a decorated cloth diaper!! The "Making a Moose of things" and "What a Moose" phrases on the cloth and bib are cheesy-cute (I like it). The burp cloth is the perfect shoulder-cover size.
Not worth it! Not even 24 hours into owning this the vibrate STOPPED working all together & once my 3 1/2 month old daughter figured out how to make it start vibrating it wouldn't turn off. Then we finally got it to stop & sat it down only to have it keep going until it died by itself after we tried everything for it to stop vibrating. We're still going to use it, but the vibration part was complete crap.
Surprisingly fun toy My 6 month old son really loves this toy. (so do our cats and dog). Everyone gets very excited when they hear the music start on this thing. I wasn't sure if it was worth the money, but it's clearly been a hit in our house. The one thing I'm not wild about is that you have to keep close hand on the balls being ejected out the top, as they tend to go all over the place...so you have to keep picking them up and putting them back in the toy to keep it going. But if you keep your hand hovering over the top, it helps chanel the balls so that they fall on the tray below.
Awesome option for using glass I have used these bottles for several months with my son. I love having BPA free materials and they wash up very easily, including in the dishwasher. (Plastic bottles run through my dishwasher ended up smelling like soap, but not these.) The sleeves make them more comfortable to hold and I haven't had any bottles break if dropped or bumped. They are easy to take on and off as long as they are not too cold. I think the best feature of this design, as compared to other sleeves, is that it allows you to see the ounce markings on the bottle to see how much the baby drank. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that one sleeve developed a tear in the first month and then broke within a week after that. The rest are all fine so far, after about 3 months of use.
