Nice-looking and easy to use I personally have no problem breastfeeding in public. I'm not generally uncomfortable, and if people have a problem with it, they can go to... ;)
But I do like it to help keep the sun off of my baby if I'm nursing her outside, and it has been nice when I have to use my breastpump somewhere less-than-private, because it is one thing if I have an infant hanging off of me, but I do feel a little weird using the pump when I don't have totally privacy (ex: I went back to school recently, and have to pump in a conference room. It's pretty private, but there are windows along one wall and windows next to the doorway that someone could peek into if they wanted.)
The fabric is sturdy, nice, attractive and easy to use. These come in a lot of different fabrics, so there's really something for everyone. I have and like the Mayfair pattern.
It is easy to use, much easier than trying to keep a blanket from sliding out of place or overheating your infant and you-it provides breathability and airflow, and you can see your baby more easily without suffocating yourself or the baby like with a blanket. It's comfortable and lightweight to wear, and folds back up nice and compactly. I keep it stashed in the flat back pocket of my breastpump bag, or throw it in the diaper bag as needed.
best ever These receiving blankets are perfect for swaddling because of their size. I haven't been able to find other receiving blankets as long as these. Plus, they have really held up after numerous washes as they tend to get used for burp clothes too.
No diaper smell! yey! These are great because they really seal up the diapers wonderfully. And the bags have a lovely "baby powder" scent. The only issue i have with them is that when i go to dump the diaper "sausages" in the trash, the genie doesnt always cut entirely thru the bag. So i have to tug on it a bit to rip it free. But really, thats a small price to pay for the fact that I cant smell my son's horrid formula diapers!!!
